Participation in the program was an unforgettable experience. Excellent coordination of classes, concentrated, information-packed lectures tailored to each level of knowledge, and extraordinary people who enabled us to learn in depth about the world of science and medicine make this program unique. All those wondering what educational path to choose, and at the same time curious about what the daily life of clinicians is like, are sure to get a lot out of these classes.

There was no time for boredom during the lectures. Theoretical classes were interspersed with practice in the form of, e.g. surgical suturing, operation of the Sleep Lab equipment and transferring cell cultures. The lectures given by MUG staff covered content I had never heard of at school. Although the participants in my group had different plans each, everyone found something for themselves that would make it easier to follow their dream path.

The “Science is People” program is the most interesting project I have had the opportunity to participate in. It was an amazing intellectual adventure and an inspiration to further develop biomedical interests. The wonderful lecturers made each block of classes incredibly interesting, and the numerous practical and laboratory activities were unforgettable. Through the program, I learned about the numerous career paths available and discovered the amazing opportunities and initiatives created by the Medical University of Gdańsk. I highly recommend this to all those interested!

The doctors and lecturers who taught the classes were passionate people. Listening to them attracted a lot attention in every class. Nevertheless, the practical classes were the most interesting and valuable for me. The doctors showed us what their work really looks like, and the best part – we could try our hand in the lab or during a heart ECG ourselves. Those moments when you can take medical equipment in your hands and feel like a doctor motivate and fuel medical passion.
