Candidates are obliged to submit their CV, list of scientific achievements, projects, publications with IF and motivation letter using the following draft download the motivation letter (89.8 KB) at any time during this announcement.

Please fulfill the application and upload the necessary attachments via the application system: eRecruiter.


Each application will be evaluated within 2 months of submission and is subject to 3 stages.

I. Eligibility check of candidates based on data in CV against basic requirements.
If the candidate is eligible, the application is passed to stage II.

II. Assessment of the candidate’s potential by the Recruitment Board based on documentation.
Basing on the CV and motivation letter, the potential of the candidate will be assessed in terms of possible ERC level potential, research independence, planning and project management skills. If the candidate is recognized by the Recruitment Board as having the appropriate potential, he will be invited to the third stage of recruitment.

III. Interview with candidates.
The candidate invited to the interview will have the opportunity to talk about his vision of research development, and the idea for the ERC grant and answer Recruitment Board questions.


If an assessment of candidates will end with a decision on invitation, individual negotiations with the selected candidate will begin. It is generally expected that the candidate will start working at MUG within 6 months of being selected however, this is not a strict rule.
