Meeting of experts in palliative medicine and oncology

The meeting of the Research Team X. Integrated and palliative care, quality of life, survivorship of Priority Research Area No. 1 will be held on December 19, 2022, at 16:00 in the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy of the MUG (Centre for Non-Invasive Medicine, building D, first floor, 17 Smoluchowskiego St.).

The lectures will be given by invited specialists. Leszek Pawłowski, Ph.D. from the Division of Palliative Medicine of the MUG will present a lecture on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the situation of volunteer palliative care. Experts will also include Prof. Slawomir Wołczyński from the Medical University of Białystok, who will talk about safeguarding fertility in oncology patients.

The event is aimed at those interested in palliative care, the psychological well-being of cancer patients, as well as fertility protection of patients. It will include refreshments.

The organizers of the meeting are members of Research Team X PRA 1 under the Excellence Initiative – Research University program. Participation in the lectures is free of charge. No advance registration is required.
