Nuclear medicine – from molecular imaging to clinical applications

The international conference Nuclear medicine – from molecular imaging to clinical applications will be held on 30 May 2025 from 10:00-17:30 at Auditorium Primum, AGN, the MUG. The conference is organised by the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the Medical University of Gdańsk with the support of the program Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB). Its aim is to widely promote nuclear medicine as a dynamically developing field in the academic, medical, and business environment of the Tri-City and the region.

Participation in the event is free of charge. Advance registration via the form applies.

We are delighted to invite a panel of esteemed experts from Poland and abroad to participate in the conference, and invitations were accepted by: prof. Takahiro Higuchi (University of Würzburg, Germany), prof. Constantin Lapa (University of Augsburg, Germany), prof. Gabriela Kramer-Marek (Institute of Cancer Research, Sutton, Great Britain / National Institute of Oncology, Gliwice), prof. Ralph A. Bundschuh (University Hospital Carls Gustav Carus, Dresden, Germany), prof. Grzegorz Węgrzyn (University of Gdańsk). These lecturers will share their great scientific experience both in the field of preclinical studies, and clinical use of radioisotopes in diagnostics and therapy. Our conference will help to expand the knowledge about achievements in modern nuclear medicine in scientific research and current clinical practice.
