Research seminar "…where discovery science meets clinical medicine"

The next scientific seminar of the …where discovery science meets clinical medicine series will take place on 29nd January 2025 at 2:35 p.m. in the Prof. Zdzisław Kieturakis Auditorium at the Invasive Medicine Centre UCC.
The guests at the December meeting will be Dr. Eric Downer from Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, Trinity College Dublin and Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki from Division of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care. The topic will be Multiple sclerosis under the lens: the role of TREG lymphocytes and cannabinoids in pathophysiology and as potential therapies.
The seminar will be conducted in English. After the meeting, the organisers invite you for refreshments – this will pose a great opportunity to network with researchers interested in collaboration.
Dr. Habil. Aleksandra Rutkowska from Division of Anatomy and Neurobiology is the meetings’ initiator. Just like in the case of previous seminar, the event will be hosted by Prof. Krzysztof Narkiewicz, Head of the Department of Hypertension and Diabetology at the MUG.
