Research seminar "…where discovery science meets clinical medicine"

The fifth scientific seminar of the “…where discovery science meets clinical medicine” series will take place on 22nd October 2024 Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Prof. Zdzisław Kieturakis Auditorium at the Invasive Medicine Centre UCC.

Agnieszka Karaś, M.Sc., a Ph.D. student at the Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics (JCET) and Dr. Habil. Barbara Kutryb-Zając from the Department of Biochemistry at the MUG are the invited experts. The topic will be “Cardiovascular Experimental Studies in the Era of Translational Research: the potential of European COST Actions”.

The seminar will be conducted in English. After the meeting, the organisers invite you for refreshments – this will pose a great opportunity to network with researchers interested in collaboration.

Dr. Habil. Aleksandra Rutkowska, Deputy Head of the Brain Disease Centre at the MUG is the meetings’ initiator. Just like in the case of previous seminar, the event will be hosted by Prof. Krzysztof Narkiewicz, Head of the Department of Hypertension and Diabetology at the MUG.
