The conference Empowering Cancer Survivors: Innovations and Insights through Digital Solutions will take place on 28 August 2024 at the Medical University of Gdańsk. The event is organised for the first time as a collaboration between the MUG and the implementers of the COST Action INE-CSC project.
The event is aimed at doctors, psychologists, nurses, biostatisticians, medical engineers and all those whose work is related to the care of patients after oncological treatment. The conference is an excellent opportunity to promote your research internationally and exchange experiences.
The conference topics will focus on modern digital solutions in oncology care (e.g. e-rehabilitation, AI artificial intelligence, ePRO remote reporting systems, mobile apps and platforms, remote monitoring, teleoncology, etc.). The event will be conducted in English. It will feature more than 50 oral presentations. Among those invited to deliver lectures are MUG specialists: Dr. Habil. Anna Supernat from the Division of Translational Oncologyy, coordinator of the Centre of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Analysis, and Maciej Bobowicz, Ph.D., from the 2nd Division of Radiology. Numerous breaks for discussion are planned during the meeting to allow for further international contacts.

The COST Action INE-CSC project (CA21152) brings together more than 200 researchers from 26 European countries interested in cutting-edge technologies in oncology. Its participants include physicians, nurses, psychologists, engineers, statisticians, and epidemiologists. The INE-CSC action will last until 2026 and it is still possible to join and take an active part in working groups and ongoing projects.
