Competence of the Department of Prevention and Didactics of MUG in the field of diabetes research

1. Design and organization of population-based screening programs for diabetes and prediabetes.

2. Design and organization of type 2 diabetes and prediabetes prevention programs.

3. Design and organization of local and nationwide epidemiological surveys (including representative samples) for the assessment of diabetes prevalence and follow-up.

4. Analysis of epidemiological data on the prevalence of prediabetes and diabetes, their incidence, follow-up, coexistence of other disorders.

5. Cooperation with health care institutions, other scientific and research institutions and local government units in the foregoing area
