How to prepare an application to the Local Ethics Commission? Summary of the meeting.

Paulina Mierzejewska, Ph.D. coordinator of research team V In vivo studies on the mechanism of disease and therapy PRA 3 from the Department of Biochemistry of the MUG responsible for animal welfare together with Ryszard Milcharek, Ph.D. V.M.D., Head of the In vivo Research Centre from the Department of Pharmaceutical Biochemistry of the MUG was the organizer of a webinar on preparing an application to the Local Ethical Committee. The event was held on November 30 in a remote format. During the meeting, the experts introduced the formal issues related to obtaining the necessary permits to research animals.

Participants of the training were able to gain knowledge of what documents are required to apply for permission to conduct experiments on animals, how to correctly fill out the documents and what to pay particular attention to so that the application is not rejected on formal grounds.
